Matthew (Matt) Littlefield is co-founder and President of LNS Research; in this role, he leads the organization as it fulfills its mission of driving industrial transformation. He is also a Principal Analyst and contributes to research across the breadth of topics covered by the firm. Matthew is a recognized industry expert and an active speaker and contributing author across the breadth of industry publications, associations, and events. His passion, however, is advising manufacturing executives on Industrial Transformation and Operational Excellence. Prior to LNS, Matthew spent five years with Aberdeen Group leading its global manufacturing research practice. During that time, he authored hundreds of thought leadership reports and frequently spoke at industry events. Earlier in his career, he worked for several global manufacturing organizations in engineering and shop floor management roles. Matthew graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Economics and an MS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
Senior Research Associate, LNS Research
Vivek Murugesan is a Research Associate with LNS Research. In this role, Vivek supports primary research across Industrial Transformation (IX) Readiness, Quality 4.0, and Analytics That Matter coverage areas, and vendor coverage on the IX Infrastructure technology landscape. Vivek also manages the quantitative analysis of LNS’ research data, creates data models such as the LNS maturity models, market sizing estimates, and conducts other data analysis that support LNS’ research across all coverage areas. Prior to LNS Research, Vivek worked in the manufacturing industry in supply chain and operations roles at ARRIS and Hyundai Motors. Vivek holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.
Senior Director, Vault LIMS
Jason has more than 20 years of experience with laboratory enterprise solutions. At Veeva, he is responsible for strategy within the Veeva Vault Quality Suite. Before Veeva, he served as manufacturing labs platform IT director at Merck, responsible for delivering digital business capability to support the company’s growth strategy. Jason received his Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
